LAist - Scott Bakula aka Terry Elliott of TNT's 'Men of a Certain Age at the 2010 Emmys.

An Answer to the Question: did scott bakula win an emmy?

(From my referrer logs)
No. He wasn't even nominated. Nor was his show, Men of a Certain Age. However his cast-mate Andre Braugher was. sadly, he did not win either.

Interview -- Scott Bakula talks #Chuck, Men of a Certain Age, #Trek

Star Trek Interview with Scott Bakula
Chuck
I had a ball on the show. They have a great bunch of people over there, including a lot of Enterprise people, which was fun for me also. I thought the scripts and the character were well written, which is what got me over there. I’d been a fan of the show and continue to be. Zac Levi leads a great group of actors over there and we had a good time. When they called me to come back and get killed they explained to me what they were trying to achieve, and the idea was that my death would help this young man grow up. They wanted to shock Chuck into that, and killing his father seemed like a good way to do it. I think they executed it – pardon the pun – very well. I think it played well and I think it had a profound effect on the series and on Chuck. I’m curious to see where they’ll go with it.
Quantum Leap Movie
This is all I know. I have spoken with Don (Bellisario, who created the show) and he’s been approached by a producer to write a script and produce a Quantum Leap film. He’s intending to do that and has begun work on it. And my understanding is that Dean (Stockwell) and I may have a small cameo element to the movie. But it hasn’t been written yet. So we’ll see.

Sightings/Video -- Emmys & UPDATE: Link to Interview

Scott was at the Emmys last night with the gang from Men of a Certain Age (Andre was nominated but did not win).

I did get to see him interviewed (Scott & Ray were interviewed together) on the livefeed on nbc.com, but I don't see that they kept it at the site (feel free to look, though) and I don't remember a lot. I wasn't expecting to see him at all, and wasn't looking for him - I just had my laptop tuned to the Red Carpet feed and happened to turn and glance at it at the right time.

UPDATE: Interview is at http://www.nbc.com/emmys/ustream.shtml.
The time stamp is 28:48 or so. You can scroll to it.

Community Service -- Scott will again co-produce Screen Actors Guild Awards

Scott will be one of the producers of the 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(R), on TNT and TBS on Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011

Television - News - 'Chuck' Bakula 'won't return to show' - Digital Spy

Digital Spy is full of crap. They scream "SPOILERS" - but they PUT THE SPOILERS IN THE HEADLINE.
I apologize for the spoiler of telling you the Chuck's dad Is Really Dead, but there is no way you are going to miss this (especially since they put it in their headline) unless you step away from the Internet, TV, radio, and print media (billboards are probably safe) AND NEVER COME BACK until the show is canceled.

Bonus Tweet Treat -- Old Commercial /Twitter Button -- Seems to Work

This was a test of the twitter button. If you had clicked the link in this post, you would have ended up at Scott's Folgers Commercial from the 80s. :-)
To share with your friends on Twitter, use the button below, now.
Thanks for your patience during this test.
(Now if Twitter could just make a Tweet Now button for my browser like Facebook has, but without the Facebook-like side effects, I would be a happy sharer (on other topics, with my other friends, in my other hobbies).

Off Topic -- A book "review"

More of a synopsis really.

When I'm not busy with Scott, my friends, watching my varying scripted TV series, or playing with my duck and the bunny, I have strong feelings about the subjects of this book: A mother, a father, and the 8 children whose lives their decisions affect.
Pamela J. Ashworth's review of The Secret World of Jon and Kate

I've disabled comments, as all the ones I have received to date have not been in English and contained links to sites I would not recommend my readers visit (I believe they contained viruses or malware). Therefore, should you wish to comment or throw rotten fruit, I can be reached by using the "Contact Pam" link in the upper left corner of the very outdated top frame of this page.

Thanks for your indulgence.

I now return you to Scott News. Please see below for articles about Scott's upcoming appearances (yes, the left frame is out-dated too) at DragonCon in Atlanta in September, The release of the Men of a Certain Age DVDs in November, The premiere date for season 2, and The Charity Golf Tournament in L.A. (You Can click on any of the LABELS at the end of this post (and then scroll past *this* post again) to get a pageful of posts on the topic you are interested in.)

There are lots of articles being written about the possibility of a Quantum Leap movie, but all we know right now is that Don is writing a script, there may be a big name directing (or not - I missed a couple of words) and Scott and Dean will have minor roles. And no, we don't know how minor. And considering the way Hollywood works, it could still all come to nothing, therefore I refuse to get my hopes up at all until they at least begin shooting. And there are no projected dates for that. I'm just looking forward to Men of a Certain Age.

Comments -- Turned Off

I had comments on moderation, but every one I've ever gotten has been in Asian characters with links to websites I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole. In other words, spam. People are being paid to type in captchas and spam. How sad.
I didn't approve any of them. There is a Contact Pam link at the top of the page. If you want to comment, email me.
