Fandom -- A thought from the trenches

Actually this is the happy part of fandom, but if you have never experienced it before...

Have you ever experienced Too Much Scott?
It's a rare condition that can only be contracted if you are in a small apartment with 4 or 5 other Scott fans who are trying to
play Scott videos
play Scott songs
show you their pictures of Scott
give you tapes of Scott singing
and
tell you stories about having met Scott
all At The Same Time.

The symptoms of this disease are:
You turn down the offer of the audio tapes of Scott singing with his church choir (or whatever) because you are so overloaded, you are not thinking straight.
I never did get those tapes.... but the pictures I was shown (this was in the pre-digital camera days) were very nice
